The Who Convention 2010 has now completed its lineup for live music over both days with the addition of Who's Best, a three piece tribute band who will play rarities at the Kilburn show as part of the two day programme of events.
Who Conventions are about fans and giving Who fans something new. Who's Best are a new band, who have pioneered the concept of a virtual tribute band across the web. Following an initial approach from Who's Best, the organisers chose to add them to the bill and seize the opportunity to unleash a new g-g-g-g-generation of Who fans on the Convention. More than this, if Who Conventions are about fans, then what could be better than offering the stage up to hungry Who fans armed to the teeth with passion to continue celebrating the music of the world's greatest rock n roll band.
Who Convention organiser, Tom Matchett aka The BoHo Scarecrow commented:
" An act such as Who's Best allows us mere mortals to live our dreams vicariously through the commitment, passion and enthusiasm of others. Isn't that what The Who and its symbiotic relationship with its audience was always about?"
Who's Best are now on a lineup that is going to explode across London on the weekend of October 2nd and 3rd. Other acts include The Wholigans, Thunderclap Newman, The Dukes Jetty, Mikey Cuthbert, The Beatbrothers, Who Are You? and The BoHo Scarecrow (ED: what was that about living vicariously?)
