Book signings at the convention

The Who Convention 2010 is delighted to announce that this year's event will feature book signings of two Helter Skelter Publishing editions.

WhoByNumbers   SharperWord

Alan Parker, the co-author of The Who By Numbers, will be at the Who Convention 2010 signing his brand new book which breaks down songs throughout The Who's career number by number. Parker has previously written books on John Lennon, Sid Vicious and The Sex Pistols.

The Who By Numbers was co-written with Steve Grantley, drummer of The Stiff Little Fingers, who unfortunately will be unavailable for the convention owing to touring commitments. The publishers have however donated a copy of the book signed by both authors to our auction.

In addition to The Who By Numbers signing, Paolo Hewitt (who is also contributing the convention's programme) will be signing copies of his book The Sharper Word: A Mod Anthology, which explores the mod youth sub-culture. Paolo is a long established journalist and author of all things rock n roll. A former NME scribe, he has also written salient works on Oasis, Paul Weller and The Small Faces.

Both books will be available for sale and signature at this year's convention! Tickets are on sale now!
