Who's Next, the UK's leading Who tribute band, will play The Good Ship on Saturday, October 2nd as part of The Who Convention 2010!
The band were originally approached some time ago but were unavailable due to touring commitments. Over the weekend the situation changed and they are now able to play the event. This means that on Saturday 2nd of October, The BoHo Scarecrow has surrendered their slot to make way for Who's Next. We are confident that this addition will further enhance this year's event and look forward to seeing you there for a great weekend of Who rock n roll.
Owing to noise restrictions at Dingwalls in Camden, full live bands cannot commence until 5pm, hence Mikey Cuthbert is booked for an acoustic set prior to the main acts. The BoHo Scarecrow will now open the Sunday show with an acoustic set in lieu of a full band performance on the Saturday prior to Mikey's set. This was a no brainer for the organisers as Who's Next are one of the world's premier Who tribute acts.
The BoHo Scarecrow commented:
"We would have loved to play with a full band but are delighted to have the brilliant Who's Next join the Who Convention bill. It would have been great to have played with a full band, but in light of this superb opportunity for the collective whole, the BoHo Scarecrow is happy to take a back seat and remain, as all Scarecrows do....out standing in our field."
